Hey there. My name is Alex Pitzer of Funkytown Photo Co., family and lifestyle photographer located in Fort Worth, Texas (Funkytown) and available for travel across the DFW Metroplex and and beyond. I first fell in love with photography during years of modeling in my teens and twenties. I would lose myself inside of magazine after magazine, equally admiring the fashion as well the composition of each stunning image. After being blessed with my first child in 2010,  I took a new place behind the lens and further developed my love for photography by capturing images of my children, family and friends. I also began a  mentor-ship with my father in law who taught photography at SMU and studied courses online. What drives me most in my work is connection and people. I strive to capture the moments in time that matter most to my clients authentically and beautifully (with a side of magical lighting) and also build friendships during each session.

When I am not behind my camera or in front of my computer fawning over my clients, you can find me practicing presence and gratitude with my precious family, reheating the coffee... again (Hi, mom of four here), praising Jesus and voraciously hunting for the best queso Fort Worth has to offer.
